Why It’s Hard to Ask for Help—and Why It Matters.

Doing it all alone might be what kept you going, but it doesn’t have to be your only way.

Those old habits aren’t your identity.  Asking for help is allowed.  Support is allowed.  You’re allowed to not hold everything together by yourself.

You’ve probably heard this before , but I’d like to know which line is yours.

1. I never ask for help.

2. I can handle it, I carry it alone always.

3. I really don’t need anyone , I never ask but I hope someone sees.

I’d like to know which one you actually say most to yourself.

“I never ask for help”

“ I can handle it”

“ I really don’t need anyone”

You do realize that these aren't strengths these are survival strategies.

Strong on the outside and exhausted underneath.

Strength doesn’t mean doing it alone.

Asking for help isn’t weak, it's actually healing.

You don’t have to do everything alone.

You know you had to survive but now you get to heal.

What would asking for help make possible your life, right here right now.

Which survival lines do you use the most in your life? And why?

Strength doesn’t mean doing it alone.

I’m thinking about you and remember you don’t have to do it alone.

Peace. Bill Gruver
